- Federation of European Labratory Animal Science Associations (Felasa): FELASA represents common interests in promoting all aspects of laboratory animal science (LAS) in Europe and beyond.
- Gesellschaft für Versuchstierkunde (GV-SOLAS): GV-SOLAS is a provider of scientific information on all aspects of laboratory animal science and animal welfare.
- Tierärztliche Vereinigung für Tierschutz (TVT): The Association of Veterinarians is committed to independent, competent, effective and targeted animal welfare.
- Arbeitskreis Berliner Tierschutzbeauftragte e.V.: The aim of the research group is to keep the level of knowledge of the Berlin animal welfare officers up to date in the field of laboratory animal science and the protection of laboratory animals in the sense of the 3Rs (Replace, Reduce, Refine) and to develop recommendations and statements.
- Pro-Test-Deutschland: Pro Test Deutschland is a non-profit initiative that promotes an open dialog about animal research.
- Tierversuche verstehen (TVV): The Science Information Initiative promotes transparent communication about animal research.
- Alternativen Verstehen: The Einstein Center 3R is a Berlin science initiative that aims to develop alternative methods to animal testing. These models offer opportunities, but also have their limits.
