Leibniz ScienceCampus Chronic Inflammation

The Leibniz ScienceCampus Chronic Inflammation was established at the DRFZ with support from the Leibniz Association. This interdisciplinary research network continues to strengthen collaboration among the DRFZ, various departments of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in the study of chronic inflammatory diseases, even beyond the funding period.

Alongside numerous joint research projects, the initiative provides communication platforms for scientific exchange, a shared training program for young researchers through the LeGCI graduate school, and various events aimed at sharing research findings with the public, patients, and non-experts.
