Modern medicine is rapidly evolving towards personalized, patient-centered treatment, driven by an in-depth understanding of genetic, immunological, environmental and lifestyle factors. At the heart of this development is the Application Laboratory for Personalized Medicine (PersMedLab), which aims to develop tailored treatment plans using state-of-the-art technologies such as genome sequencing, functional immune analysis and multi-omic analysis. The establishment of an automated laboratory infrastructure should enable the direct transfer of research results into practice in order to optimize diagnosis and treatment, particularly of inflammatory diseases, and thus also improve treatment efficiency and safety.
