Remembering Av at the DRFZ and Avrion Mitchison Prize Ceremony

The British scientist Avrion Mitchison was the first Scientific Director of the DRFZ (1989 – 1996). He helped shape the newly founded institute in a unique way. Together with some of the first employees, we will look back on these early years of the DRFZ.

We will use this year`s Avrion Mitchison Prize Ceremony to remember Avrion (Av) Mitchison and, together with some of the first employees, look back on the early years of the DRFZ.
