DRFZ receives the Total E-Quality Award

On the 25^th of October 2022, the DRFZ received the Total E-Quality e. V. award for the third time covering the years 2022-2024. With this award, the DRFZ is thus recognised for its commitment in the area of equal opportunities with regard to gender equality and diversity. The DRFZ previously held the award from 2010 – 2018 and has worked even more actively on shaping equal opportunities in recent years. For example, in the course of revising the DRFZ website, the use of gender-equitable language was implemented and the visibility of female scientists, who are represented at all levels of the DRFZ by more than 50%, was increased. As a patient-oriented research institute, the DRFZ pays attention to the inclusion of all genders in clinical studies and generates gender-specific data in the field of health services research.

The efforts of the DRFZ to make work and family compatible were also highlighted, e.g. through online formats for seminars and consideration of holiday periods.

The DRFZ is proud of its successes in the area of equal opportunities and has anchored the existing, but also new supporting measures in the equal opportunities plan this year. This provides the basis for actively shaping equal opportunities and a promising working environment for all employees.
