DRFZ at the Rheumatology Congress 2023 in Leipzig

DRFZ colleagues presented, discussed and networked at the German Rheumatology Congress in Leipzig from 30.08. – 2.09.23. As DRFZ we participated with an information stand in the Rheumahaus together with other associations and patient organisations.

Congratulations to Carl Goetzke: During the Scientific Evening of the Society for Child and Adolescent Rheumatology (GKJR) he was awarded the Research Prize Experimental Paediatric Rheumatology for his research work on the mechanisms of PIMS, Pedeatric Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome.

Doreen Huschek from Anja Strangfeld’s group, Pharmcoepidemiology, won the Science Award in the Epidemiology and Health Services Research category for the poster “Starting treatment with a Janus kinase inhibitor before and after safety warnings: Changes in characteristics of patients with rheumatoid arthritis”. We congratulate warmly.
