Cutting-edge technologies for molecular disease definition

The DRFZ has established state-of-the-art technology platforms to study rheumatic diseases in detail at the cellular and molecular level. These platforms make it possible to investigate the complex interactions between immune cells and their natural environment in the tissue, to isolate cells in a targeted manner and to analyze them precisely in further molecular and functional studies.

Our flow cytometry, mass cytometry, microscopy, and high-throughput sequencing platforms not only provide services to research groups, but are centers of innovation, constantly developing new technologies to identify, isolate, or target specific cells more efficiently. These laboratories ensure not only technological but also logistical support to our research groups. This support enables them to perform studies with the highest standards and quality, thus advancing research in rheumatology with unprecedented depth and precision.

The DRFZ has expanded its technology platforms to include a state-of-the-art robotic platform specialized in the automated processing of patient samples. This platform integrates cutting-edge robotic technologies to handle samples efficiently and precisely, significantly increasing the throughput and reliability of analyses.

Overall, the technology platforms form a well-integrated system that enables research groups to better understand rheumatic diseases and thereby develop innovative therapies faster and more efficiently than before.
