JAK-pot collaboration
The JAK-pot study is an international collaboration of currently 20 rheumatoid arthritis registries.
The aim of the collaboration is to investigate the efficacy and safety of Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
Registries provide insights into the day-to-day clinical care of patients outside the more restrictive clinical trials. They contain observational data from different patient populations and treatments and allow the analysis of long-term outcomes.
The large patient numbers of the collaborate JAK-pot-study help to confirm previous findings on the efficacy and safety of JAKi therapies and make these findings more generalizable. Treatment patterns in different countries can be compared and can lead to validated clinical guidelines.
Results from the collaboration have already been presented at various congresses.
