AER-COMED (sub-project 7): Identifying and quantifying adverse treatment effects from the patient perspective

In subproject 7, a questionnaire will be developed together with patients. The questionnaire will ask about health problems that can occur in connection with the use of glucocorticoids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. ibuprofen, diclofenac) and that are often perceived as relevant or limiting by patients. The questionnaire will be developed together with the research partners with input from a patient focus group. Subsequently, 800 patients will be asked to answer the questions once via the National Database of the German Collaborative Arthritis Centres.  Inclusion criteria are the diagnosis of an inflammatory rheumatic disease and participation in the National Database.
