5th IIMVF: Educating the immune system: good and bad memory

We thank all speakers, chairs and participants for two exciting days of scientific exchange. With more than 300 participants from 15 nations, the online format was a great success.

This joint Symposium of the Chiba University, the University of Tokyo, the Leibniz ScienceCampus Chronic Inflammation and the Deutsches Rheuma-Forschungszentrum Berlin provides an international platform for leading immunologists and young scientists for intense discussion of this controversial field, probing old paradigms and presenting new discoveries.
The program includes a Keynote Lecture given by Tanja Lange and six Symposia covering the topics
- Memory maintenance: Resident or on the move, resting or active?
- Education towards tolerance and memory
- Immune memory and vaccine against SARS-CoV-2
- Education of immune system by microbiota
- Evading pathogen
- Bad memories
